ASIUWHU FLAGS OFF DELTA FUMIGATION EXERCISE AT INFANTS JESUS PHASE 2, IN ASABA
The honourable commissioner of environmental Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, today flag off fumigation campaign exercise at Infant Jesus phase 2 in Asaba, the state capital .
Addressing the residents of infants Jesus, Chief Asiuwhu stated that the state government is committed in ensuring that residents of the state who are living in flood prone areas are protected against snakes and other poisonous reptiles.
You all are also aware that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has also announced that this year 2023 flood may likely be more than that of the 2022, that is why we’re carrying out this fumigation exercise to protect the environment against snake and reptiles. Also this exercise will also be carried out in other parts of the state that are also prone to flood.
The chairman of landlord association of infant Jesus, Apostle Dr Herbert Richards who speaks on behalf of other members of the associations thank the state government for the project and also promise to give the fumigator team the needed support.
